Beauty Products I've Been Loving This Month

Hey friends! I haven't done a favorites post in quite some time so I decided to put on together. Some of these are brand new to me over the past month and a few products I've been using since December, but they are all REALLY good!

Brows
I have been using the Loreal Unbelieva-Brow for a few months and I have really been enjoying it. I use it on days where I am going for a more natural & less defined brow. It does take a little bit to get used to the doe foot applicator, but once you get the hang of it it makes for a quick and easy look. It also comes with a brow brush to get the most natural look possible.

Body
I picked up the Ulta Tanning Drops when a similar product was sold out at Sephora for weeks and I was getting impatient. These say they are for your face, but I use them on my body. I mix with my regular lotion if I'm going for a subtle look, but lately I've been mixing them with and oldie I just recently rediscovered. Remember Jergens Natural Glow Lotion? It's so natural and easy that I don't know why I haven't been obsessed with it before! The drops don't turn you orange and just give you an easy natural color.

Skin
I am late to the game with the First Aid Cleanser. Years ago everybody was obsessed with this cleanser and now I get why. It is the perfect, gentle, everyday cleanser that really gets the gun out of your pores. I'm obsessed with it and have to use it at least 3 days a week.

The Dermablend Jelly Primer is such an interesting product. It is tacky and almost jelly like. The idea behind it is that it will help makeup adhere more easily and last longer and I really have enjoyed it. It leaves such a nice finish to my skin after applying my makeup. I do think you would have longer lasting results if you have dry skin, but even if you don't your skin will look flawless for hours.

Hair Care
I have been trying so many different shampoos over the past few months and the sole standout is the Unwash Shampoo. It helps bring out your hair color and gives a sleek healthy mane that looks like you spent so much time at the salon.

Lipstick
Almay Lip Vibes Lipstick in Go Wild. First of all, lets admire this packaging. Each shade has different graphics and is as pretty as this one. This color is the most gorgeous everyday nude. I have been wearing it nonstop. The finish is matte, but not at all drying and so comfortable. The staying power is average so you will need to reapply every few hours and definitely after eating or drinking, but it's worth it for the color alone!

Makeup
This Wander Translucent Powder is such a neat product! The powder is already inside of the puff so all you need to do is apply to your skin. It's convenient and fits nicely into your purse for quick touchups. This product is perfect for us oily-combo skin girlies!

Lip Care
I've been using the Tatcha Gold Spun Lip Balm since early November. It feels so luxurious (and looks so pretty sitting out) and does a great job keeping my lips hydrated even during the cold weather. How many people say they moisturize their lips with gold?! This stuff makes me feel fancy.

Hair Styling
I've been super impressed with this Dove Micro Mist Hairspray. It's ultra fine like some way more expensive hair sprays on the market, but at a drugstore price. No crunchy hair over here! This stuff holds your hair in place all day and has such a nice & familiar scent. Winner!

Skin Care
I've had this Avene Toner for a while, but hadn't paid much attention to it for a while. Recently I was needing a gentle toner because I was trying a few harsh products and decided to give it a shot. I'm so impressed with it and can't compare it to any toner I've ever tried. It is so impressive how gentle it is, yet it does such a great job deep cleaning. It helps calm my skin without compromising cleaning power. I use it at least 3 nights a week for healthy gunk free skin.

The Most Comfortable Jumpsuit

Hey friends! How are you enjoying the spring weather? I've been dealing with some pretty bad allergies so I'm trying to stay indoors as much as I can handle so that means cute comfy clothes!

I recently ordered a bunch of jogger style jumpsuits from Amazon and I'm so impressed! This black off the shoulder number is under $20 and comes in several colors. I may have also ordered the army green version. It has a cinched waist & slightly oversized look so it's perfect for hiding that food baby!

I can't recommend this jumpsuit enough and you can't beat that price. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Organizing for Spring

Happy spring ladies! It has taken its sweet time to arrive, but we have finally had some nice warm days around here and I for one am so thankful. This time of year always has me so excited to do some spring cleaning and get everything organized. I'm naturally a very organized person and keep things pretty neat, but I enjoy changing things up once or twice a year and updating my system to make it fit my needs at the moment.

Over the past year I have really slimmed down my jewelry, sunglasses, and makeup collection. Rather than having tons of items that I only occasionally use,  I have a small collection of products that I love and use regularly so I need a new organizing system to fit that. But we all know that getting organized can get so expensive! Plastic organizers can be overpriced and can really add up when you start picking out the pieces that you need, but did you know that there are some AMAZING containers at your local Dollar Tree?! I just found so many great options to fit whatever your needs may be and all at the unbelievable price of $1!

I'm switching out jewelry racks and boxes for simple plastic containers that fit inside my drawers and keep things visible and easily accessible. I also was looking for a way to keep my makeup palettes organized and I found just the thing! These clear plastic napkin holders keep your palettes grouped together and are the perfect solution for keeping your makeup drawers organized.

Napkin Holder3 compartment organizer | Rectangle Organizer

I picked up a bunch of the 3 compartment containers for keeping jewelry separate and love that these have a lid which will also keep dust out of your jewelry if you are leaving it out on your vanity.

These  rectangle containers are the perfect size to keep sunglasses organized and safe among any other items in your drawer that could potentially scratch them. They are perfect for organizing pretty much anything in your home from your kitchen to bathroom drawers so I'll definitely be picking more up once my Dollar Tree restocks ( I may or may not have bought them out. Ooops!) You can also order in bulk online so I might just place an order since I'm in the organizing zone!

2 Drawer Organizer | White Drawer Organizer | Medium Drawer Organizer

There are some great lipstick & lip balm organizers available to keep all your lip products lined up and easily accessible. These can be so expensive if you pick them up somewhere else. This long rectangular container would be great for keeping blushes and highlighters lined up.

If you are in need of some plastic drawer organizer for your jewelry or makeup then definitely grab some of these! They are a STEAL at $1 and will keep dust off of your products and keep them super organized. And if clear containers aren't your thing, there are a bunch of white options for you too!

I went completely crazy with Dollar Trees organizing products and found some online that my store didn't have in stock. We love fresh eggs in my home and always have several dozen ready in the fridge so these plastic egg holders are something we NEED. I love that we can buy a whole bunch and not feel have to break the bank. These fridge organizers are great for keeping condiments or yogurts together and making your fridge not look like a complete disaster. As somebody who gets anxious from messes, I am so excited about these!

While I was at Dollar Tree I also loaded my cart up with about two dozen of these little succulent pots. At $1 each they are perfect for creating your own little decor pieces on a budget. I also grabbed a few of these cut galvanized pots to fill with the succulents and some florals. These are such a steal and would cost WAY more if you found them anywhere else.
